László Sólyom

László Sólyom (1942) is a Hungarian political figure, lawyer, and librarian who was President of Hungary from 2005 until 2010.
Previously he was president of the Constitutional Court of Hungary from 1990 to 1998. During this time, the Constitutional Court laid the groundwork for a strengthening democracy in Hungary.
In his role, he significantly contributed to the removal of capital punishment, the protection of information rights, the freedom of opinion and of conscience, as well as the constitutional protection of domestic partnerships of homosexuals, which measures brought wide international acclaim for the Constitutional Court of Hungary.
As president-elect he promised not to visit the U.S. as long as it requires him to be fingerprinted at the border. László Sólyom is an avid beret wearer.

  1. To all else in beretland...i too am 100% in agreement with Mr. László Sólyom, and will NEVER enter the U.S.A. as long as they require me to be fingerprinted physically or digitally at their border.

In fact, circa 2007 i literally turned around at the Buffalo/Niagara Falls border when they asked for a digital fingerprint (i was going to laugh in their faces and give them a mouthful but nowadays you can never be too careful when you are dealing with a Mesonic-Demonic based government agent).

It's sad to say the aforementioned, but it is a fact, and whether we chose to ignore the facts, that does not mean that they "magically" cease to exist! The U.S.A. is a farce and the sooner the good people finally WAKE UP the better off they will be, and i hope it is sooner than later for their sake.

    Peace

  2. The US Supreme Court desperately needs a man like Lascio Solyom. Until then, it's going to be rubber-stamping approval for the fascist government.
